  NIU CONVOCATION CENTER DRIVE-IN CONCERT CANCELLED  

Update as of September 16, 2020

Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in DeKalb County and a strong recommendation from the DeKalb County Health Department, NIU has made the difficult decision to cancel the live drive-in concert with for King & Country on September 25, 2020. This decision was made to ensure the safety of the band, fans and staff. All tickets will be refunded in the form of purchase within the next 30 days. 

 

Tickets purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by phone will be refunded automatically.  Purchasers do NOT need to take any action at this time.

Four-time GRAMMY® award-winning act for KING & COUNTRY makes its debut at the NIU Convocation Center for a special live in-person drive-in concert on Friday, September 25th at 7:30 p.m. 

Brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone's latest chart-topping hit “TOGETHER” - a song about the strength of unity in the face of adversity - is only one of the seven No.1 songs they have garnered on U.S. Christian Charts. 

Tickets are sold on a per vehicle basis, with up to six people per vehicle allowed. All tickets must be purchased in advance of the show and are all general admission within each ticket pricing area. Tickets per vehicle range from $128 to $228. 

Vehicles will be parked in corresponding ticket sections based on the order in which they arrive. The lot opens at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. 

 

  LOCATION  


This live, in-person, drive-in concert will be held in Lot C3 of the NIU Convocation Center, located on the north side of the building and accessible via President's Drive and Recreation Drive.

From the west, vehicles will enter via President's Blvd. off of Lincoln Highway.  

From the east, from Annie Glidden Rd., turn onto Lucinda Ave. and continue onto Recreation Drive.

  TICKETS  


Ticket costs are PER VEHICLE, with up to six people allowed per vehicle. All tickets are general admission within the specific ticketed section. VIP tickets are $228 per vehicle, tickets in price Level Two are $153 each and Level Three tickets are $128 per vehicle.

For the safety of all guests, pets are not permitted on site. Working service animals are allowed.  

 

  PERSONAL TAILGATE ZONE  


Enjoy the concert from your own private tailgating zone. Patrons can bring your own chairs, food and drinks to make the experience unique to you. 

Grills, bar-b-que pits, open fires, tents and other large structures are not permitted.

  HEALTH GUIDELINES  


To promote social distancing, we request that guests from the same vehicle take turns visiting the portable restrooms so that only one attendee per vehicle is at the restrooms at one time.

Please wear a mask when leaving your designated space, including to visit the restrooms. 

  RESTROOMS  


For your convenience, portable restrooms will be available around the perimeter of the concert area.
