Fall World Series Game Two: Red 5, Black 2

DeKALB, Ill. - The Red team rebounded with a 5-2 victory in game two of the Fall World Series to knot the series at one game each. Marc Besteman led the Red offense with two hits and two runs.

Bobby Stevens put the Black up 1-0 in the first inning when he singled home Daniel Jewett, who led off the game with a double. In the third, Stevens doubled to lead off the frame and came in to score on a throwing error to give the Black a 2-0 lead.

Tim Kamin got the Red on the board after singling and eventually came around to score on a passed ball in the fifth.

The Red rally continued in the sixth when Justin Behm drove in Jordin Hood to even the score at two and later came around to score to give his team a 3-2 lead. Besteman capped the inning scoring when he crossed the plate on an error to put the Red ahead 4-2.

Besteman scored again in the ninth after a leadoff double to provide the final 5-2 margin.
