DeKalb, Ill. - The Northern Illinois volleyball team beat Cleveland State (0-2), 25-23, 25-17, 25-23, to earn its second win of the year. The Huskies (2-0) were led by freshman Allison McGlaughlin (Morton, Ill./Morton), who had 15 kills and five aces, including three in a row during a stretch in the second set.

The Huskies will play again tonight against Connecticut to wrap up the NIU Invite at 7 p.m. in Victor E. Court.
