Too tired to make the drive to Mt. Pleasant, Mich. after eating Thanksgiving dinner the night before, but you don't want to miss NIU's regular season finale at Central Michigan? Don't worry. You can catch it on the airwaves through the Northern Illinois ISP Network. In Chicago, the game can be heard on WNTD AM 950 and WAUR AM 930, in DeKalb on 1360 AM as well as on WTJK AM 1380 in Janesville, Wis.

WOMEN'S HOOPS TONIGHT

The Huskies have faced a lot of good quarterbacks this season, but the toughest challenge at the QB spot will come Friday when Northern Illinois travles to Mt. Pleasant, Mich. to face Dan LeFevour and Central Michigan in the regular season finale. John Sahly of the Daily Chronicle caught up with a few of the Huskies who shared their thoughts on the Chippewas' signal caller in this story in today's paper.
FORMER HUSKIE TO PLAY FOR CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations go out to former Huskie Eddie Davis as he and the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League will be playing in the 2009 Grey Cup Sunday, November 29 after defeating Calgary, 27-17. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. CST. Davis, who played tailback and cornerback for NIU from 1991-94, is in his 15th season in the CFL and is making his second trip to the Grey Cup with the Roughriders in three years.
WOMEN'S HOOPS GRINDS OUT WIN OVER SIU SUNDAY

Great win for the NIU women's team to start out Sunday's doubleheader festivities. After falling behind early, the Huskies got 22 points from forward Mauvolyene Adams, and outlasted the Salukis, 74-65.
John Sahly had this description of the game, while Ben Gross and Jackie Thyfault from the Northern Star teamed up for a game recap and sidebar of SIU's defensive plans going into the contest. Mauvolyene Adams scored a career-high with 22 points, the second game in a row she's hit the 20-point milestone. She also accumulated her fourth double-double in as many games this year.
HUSKIE MEN'S HOOPS SPLITS HOMESTAND

The Northern Illinois men's basketball team dominated Tennessee State Friday, but had a tough go against Southeast Missouri Sunday, and split its opening weekend at home.
James Nokes of the DeKalb Daily Chronicle had this take on Friday's game, and NIU beat writer John Sahly did his best to explain NIU's struggles from the free throw line in Sunday's game story.
The Rockford Register Star was also in attendance for both games. Andy Colbert provided Friday's gamer, and Jay Taft was on assignment yesterday.
The Northern Star had a recap of the entire weekend.

A couple of sites have the Huskies going to various locales across the country. ESPN is divided as to which bowl NIU is headed to, while CBSsportsline.com has the Huskies headed to Albuquerque. Remember, it's a fluid situation.
