DeKALB, Ill. - The kick off time for Northern Illinois' football game at Ball State on Saturday, Nov. 20 has been moved up one hour and will now begin at 11 a.m. (Central)/Noon (Eastern), the Ball State Athletics Department announced earlier this week.
The game, which will be played at Scheumann Stadium in Muncie, is the second-to-last regular season contest of the year for the Huskies. The game was originally scheduled for a Noon (Central) start. It is not scheduled to be televised.
Currently, NIU is scheduled to have four 11 a.m. (Central) kickoffs in 2010, including Saturday's home game versus Temple, which will be televised by ESPN Regional as one of two MAC "Games of the Week." The game will air in 12 markets across the country, including Chicago, Rockford, Milwaukee, Madison, Cleveland and Philadelphia, and can also be watched through the ESPN GamePlan package or online at www.ESPN3.com. For the complete list of markets and stations that will carry the game, see the "Follow the Huskies" story on www.NIUHuskies.com.
Tickets for the Northern Illinois-Temple game, as well as all remaining home and away contests, are on sale now through the NIU Athletics Ticket Office (815-752-6800) and at all Ticketmaster outlets for $20 for the general public ($25 for Homecoming). Purchase tickets online through the Tickets link at www.NIUHuskies.com 24 hours a day, seven days a week or at the ticket windows on game day. NIU students are admitted free to all NIU home games.
