Week's Achievements:
Named NIU's offensive lineman of the week after helping lead the Mid-American Conference's No. 1 rushing attack to a game-high 297 yards in Northern Illinois' 34-23 victory over Minnesota. The Huskies' win over the Gophers was the second-straight year NIU defeated a team from the Big Ten conference. Otis played a key role in NIU running back Chad Spann's game-high 223 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Spann earned National Offensive Player of the Week honors by the Walter Camp Foundation. Otis and the offensive line did not allow a quarterback sack all game. The Huskie offensive line has allowed the fewest sacks in the league.

Week's Achievements:
In helping NIU go 2-1 at home during the week and pickup its first Mid-American Conference win of the season, McGlaughlin posted a .312 attack percentage along with a team second-best 35 kills (3.18/set) and 30 digs (2.73/set).  She also added two aces and two blocks for 38.5 points (3.50/set).  In a sweep of DePaul, she tallied 13 kills and nine digs.  She put up 14 kills against Ball State, which was her highest kills total in her last 12 matches.  She also posted a season-best 13 digs for her second double-double of the year.  In sweeping Toledo, she registered a team-high .583 hitting percentage, totaling eight kills and eight digs, along with two blocks and an ace.
