As we are within two weeks of Homecoming here at NIU, please keep in mind the following baseball team activities:
Saturday, October 15 - 12 NOON
Pig Roast behind the third base dugout - Come meet this year's current team and say hello to some old friends. Alum Roger Dutton has agreed to provide the meat with a Pig Roast, and our friends at Buona Beef have agreed to help us with the rest of the food, dessert and coffee, water and pop. PLEASE STOP BY AND SAY HELLO AND GRAB A BITE TO EAT! Football is at 2:30 pm
Sunday, October 16 - Alumni Field Day and Red/Black Series games
10 AM - Ralph McKinzie Field will be open for any alum who wants to come out to take some batting practice, field some ground balls and catch up on old stories. If there is enough interest, we will even have a hitting contest.
1 PM - Red/black Series Doubleheader - Games 3 and 4 of the annual rite of fall. Stick around and get a preview of this year's Huskie baseball team!
Please let us know if you are attending any and all of the above events, as it helps with our preparation!
