DeKALB, Ill. - Northern Illinois fans who ordered tickets to the 2012 GoDaddy.com Bowl prior to Monday, Dec. 19, should receive their tickets in the mail this week, while Huskie fans who still plan to get tickets to the Northern Illinois-Arkansas State game in Mobile, Ala. on Jan. 8 have plenty of time to make their orders, NIU Ticket Manager Eric Schultz said Tuesday.
The NIU Athletics Ticket Office in the Convocation Center will be closed for the holidays from Wednesday, Dec. 21 through Monday, Jan. 2 EXCEPT during NIU home athletics events (see schedule below). However, tickets to the GoDaddy.com Bowl can be ordered online 24 hours a day and seven days a week through Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012. Tickets are $45 each and individuals who would like to purchase tickets but cannot attend the game can still help Northern Illinois Athletics and the football program by purchasing a donated ticket online.
Tickets ordered beginning Monday, Dec. 19 through Saturday, Jan. 7 either online, or in person at the Convocation Center, can be PICKED UP at the following dates and sites (all times Central):

Tuesday, Dec. 20: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. (NIU Men's Basketball vs. Valparaiso, 7 p.m.)
Wednesday, Dec. 21: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (NIU Wrestling Quadrangular Meet, 11 a.m.)
Thursday, Dec. 22: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. (NIU Women's Basketball vs. Indiana State, 7 p.m.)
Friday, Dec. 23 through Sunday, Jan. 1 -- CLOSED
Monday, Jan. 2: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. (NIU Men's Basketball vs. Roosevelt, 7 p.m.)
Tuesday, Jan. 3: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Schultz said that tickets ordered through NIUHuskies.com and the Northern Illinois Athletics Ticket Office prior to Monday were sent out and should arrive in mailboxes as soon as this week. Individuals who purchased either of the travel packages available through the Huskie Athletic Support Fund (HASF) for the game, as well as ancillary activities in Mobile, will receive their tickets and a complete itinerary in a separate mailing from the HASF.
