Week's Achievements: Senior Vince Castillo celebrated Northern Illinois University's Senior Night with a 9-5 victory over Corey Phillips to help lead the Huskies to a 21-18 decision over Eastern Michigan giving NIU its first conference win of the season. Castillo, who took a 5-4 lead after the first period, extended it to 8-5 with an escape in the second period and a takedown in the third. Week's Achievements: Guard Courtney Shelton averaged seven points, two rebounds and two assists per game for the Huskies’ two contests.  She tallied eight points, two rebounds and one assist against Bowling Green.  Versus Akron, Shelton posted six points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal.
