Week's Achievements: Dick nailed down his first top-10 of the spring with a final-round 75 at Purdue’s Boilermaker Invitational. Though unable to hold onto the lead in this one, the Texan battled furiously to a solo fifth-place finish.  His season-low first-round score of a four-under 68 held up as the tournament's best in spite of the field's low scoring average on Sunday. All in all, the 219-stroke (+3) performance gives him three straight appearances in the top-20 heading into his last MAC Championships.
 Week's Achievements: Sheppard put together a stellar home weekend as NIU went 2-1 with wins over Bowling Green and Toledo with help from five RBI by the sophomore shortstop.  In the three games, Sheppard compiled a .375 batting average (3-for-8) with five RBI, three runs, two doubles and one home run.  She was also perfect in 12 fielding chances.  In a 4-3 win on April 22 against Bowling Green, Sheppard came in as a late defensive replacement and was flawless in three fielding attempts.  During a 7-6 loss to Toledo on April 23, Sheppard went 1-for-4 with two runs, a double and RBI and handled all six fielding plays.  In a 13-4 win over Toledo on April 24, she erupted for four RBI on a three-run homer and double in four at-bats and was perfect in six fielding attempts.
