Week's Achievements: Anderson tossed eight scoreless innings at Toledo to pick up his seventh-straight victory and his eighth of the year in a combined shutout against the Rockets, 4-0. Anderson scattered seven hits, struck out three and walked only one against 31 batters in his seventh-consecutive outing of eight innings or more. Week's Achievements: Sheppard batted .429, well above her .286 season average, going 6-for-14 with a home run and a double and led the Huskies with four runs batted in and 10 total bases in five games for Northern Illinois last week. Sheppard, who has made 122 straight starts for the Huskies, including all 53 games this season, began the weekend with a walk-off home run in NIU’s 6-5 victory over Toledo in Game One of its doubleheader with the Rockets. She went 3-for-3 on the day with three RBIs and two runs scored in the contest. She went 1-for-2 with an RBI in the Huskies’ 11-2 five inning victory over Toledo in the second game Friday. In the series finale against Bowling Green, Sheppard went 1-for-3 with a sacrifice in NIU’s 5-4 victory on Senior Day.
