As tip-off for the 2014-15 NIU Basketball season quickly approaches, NIU Athletics is excited to announce our premium hospitality areas that will be available for Huskie Athletic Fund supporters to enjoy at every home game.

Courtside seating, the new Nelson Club Suite and the Sixth Man Grille will offer first-class experiences for NIU basketball fans. These exclusive areas provide donors access to premium food and beverages, insider information about Huskie Athletics and much more.

The brand new Nelson Club provides hospitality to fans who want the ultimate NIU Men’s Basketball experience. As a member of the Nelson Club, you will receive an exclusive VIP pass for access into the suite area.

Once inside the suite, enjoy a bird’s eye view of the newly designed basketball court while socializing with university leaders and other loyal Huskies. A premium food buffet and soft drinks are included in the package with access to the cash bar. Prior to the game, listen to a member of the men’s basketball coaching staff share exclusive, pre-game remarks. Doors open one hour prior to tip-off and close 60 minutes postgame.

Starting this year at all NIU men’s basketball games, the Sixth Man Grille will feature a distinguished NIU speaker who will share exclusive insight into the operations of his or her department and how their role impacts the university, student-athletes, and the surrounding community, giving donors first-hand access to university topics.

Huskie Athletic Fund supporters will enjoy premium food and beverages for sale and complimentary water, popcorn, and hot chocolate for those chilly winter days. Don’t sit by your friends at the game? Meet up with them for a snack and some hot cocoa in the Sixth Man Grille!
