NIU Scholar Athletes of the Week: March 16-22

March 23, 2015 DeKALB, Ill. - Each week, NIU honors two student-athletes that exemplify the concept of the "student-athlete" supremely well. These students excel both in the classroom and on the playing field. This week, the honorees are Justin Fletcher of baseball and Nelle Youel of women's tennis.

These two Huskies have been nominated to the MAC for the league's Scholar Athlete of the Week award, which NIU student-athletes have won eight times during the 2014-15 season, the second most in the conference.
