NIU Scholar Athletes of the Week: March 23-29

March 30, 2015 DeKALB, Ill. - Each week, NIU honors two student-athletes that exemplify the concept of the "student-athlete" supremely well. These students excel both in the classroom and on the playing field. This week, the honorees are Joo-Young Lee of men's golf and Jessica Sturm of softball.

These two Huskies have been nominated to the MAC for the league's Scholar Athlete of the Week award, which NIU student-athletes have won nine times during the 2014-15 season, tied for the most in the conference.
