| Week's Achievements:
Johnny Zubek hit .467 in four games last week, highlighted by his performances in NIU baseball's Sunday doubleheader sweep over Eastern Michigan, when he hit .500 with two home runs, three runs batted in and five runs scored while reaching base six times. The junior catcher homered in each contest Sunday, cracking a key game-tying two-run shot in game one and a solo blast in game two. He even had a perfect sacrifice bunt to move his teammate into scoring position in the bottom of the 10th inning of the first game, eventually leading to the Huskies' winning run. Zubek had entered Sunday with just one home run all season before hitting two in one day.

Week's Achievements:
Lena Gautier paced the NIU women's golf team at the MAC Championships over the weekend at Shaker Run Golf Course in Lebanon, Ohio, posting the best finish by a Huskie women's golfer at the MAC Championships in program history. The sophomore finished tied for fourth overall, helping the Huskies finish fifth as a team. Gautier recovered from an 81 that had her in 27th place on Friday to fire a 74 on Saturday, tied for the best round of any golfer in the MAC that day. She then posted a 75 on Sunday to rise from eighth to fourth on the final day of the tournament.
