| Week's Achievements:
Brian Sisler hit his second home run of the season and added to his team-leading runs-batted-in tally for the NIU baseball team last weekend. The junior shortstop helped the Huskies beat Western Michigan in game one of their series last weekend with a go-ahead RBI sacrifice fly in the seventh inning. In game two, Sisler smacked his second roundtripper of the season down the right field line to lead off the bottom of the first by giving NIU the lead. Sisler leads NIU with 29 runs batted in this season.

Week's Achievements:
Alexandra Schad enjoyed a fine Senior Day for the NIU women's track & field team, finishing in the top four of both of her two events at the Huskie Open with some of her best marks of the senior. The senior jumper took third in the triple jump with a 10.69-meter effort -- the second best of her collegiate career -- and she nabbed fourth place in the long jump with a 5.22-meter leap. Schad's contributions, which won her team 11 points, helped the NIU track & field team win its home meet with a total of 219.0 points, making it the second victorious team meet of the season for the Huskies.
