DEKALB, Ill. -- Join NIU men’s basketball head coach Mark Montgomery for lunch and the latest updates on Huskie basketball with “Mondays With Monty,” at DeKalb’s Italian restaurant, Fanatico Cucina Italiana on 1215 Blackhawk Road. The first monthly luncheon will take place on Monday, Oct. 5, at noon.

“Mondays With Monty” is a first come, first served buffet luncheon at Fanatico, hosted by Coach Montgomery. The cost is $10 at the door.

Each month, Montgomery will provide an in-depth update on Huskie basketball while also taking questions from fans in attendance. Coach Monty will be joined by members of his coaching staff as well as a special guest, beginning with NIU Associate Vice President/Director of Athletics Sean T. Frazier on Oct. 5. The buffet lunch will begin at noon and the event will conclude at 1 p.m.

Season tickets for the upcoming 2015-16 season of NIU basketball are available now, with the combined men's and women's season ticket available for just $135. Season tickets for Huskie men's basketball are available for the general public for just $110, a cost of less than $6 per game, while NIU football or women's basketball season ticket holders, NIU faculty/staff, Varsity or Alumni Club members and seniors can purchase season tickets for just $95, or just $5 per game.

New this season is the Huskie Family Pack season ticket. The Family Pack offers fans four season tickets for Huskie men's or women's basketball. The men's basketball family pack is $329, a savings of over $110 on four regularly priced season tickets.
