WHAT'S HAPPENIN'
• Hosting Senior Night on Saturday, NIU will host Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan this weekend in the Huskies final matches of the regular season. Northern Illinois University will return home for the Mid-American Conference Tournament Nov. 17-20 at Victor E. Court.
• Northern Illinois University will honor six seniors prior to the match against the Chippewas as
Paige Dacanay,
Malia Gabel,
Bri Horwath,
Mary Grace Kelly,
Jenna Radtke and
Lauren Zielinski will be recognized.
• This year's senior class is amongst the most successful classes in program history, entering the weekend with a 49-11 record in Mid-American Conference games from 2013 to the present. Only the senior class of 1995 (1992-95) owned a better conference record with a 55-3 mark, including two undefeated conference seasons in 1992 and 1993.
• After winning 14-consecutive matches, the Huskies fell at Miami (Ohio) last Saturday in three sets, 22-25, 20-25, 23-25. The RedHawks 19-match unbeaten streak is the longest in the country.
• The Huskies unbeaten run was the fourth-longest in program history, equalling the feat of the 1993 team, a member of NIU's Athletic Hall of Fame.

Mary Grace Kelly had a career-night at Western Michigan, hitting an astonishing .564 to set a new career-high while tying her mark in kills at 23 in 39 total swings. She also recorded 11 digs to register her second double-double of the season.
• If the Huskies secure a win this weekend, they will claim the Mid-American Conference West Division title for the third-straight season and the fourth time under Head Coach
Ray Gooden.
• NIU has won 20-or-more matches in a season 21 times, including six 20-win seasons Gooden's previous 14 seasons.
• Northern Illinois leads the Mid-American Conference in hitting percentage and blocks with a clips of .263 and 2.50 per set, respectively.
• The Huskies are 8-1 in home matches this season, winning their last six contests.
