• Marin Maric currently ranks ninth in NIU history in career blocks with 58; Maric had a season high three blocked shots last time out at Minnesota (Dec. 11)
• NIU ranks second in the MAC in turnover forced per game, as Huskie opponents are committing 16.1 turnovers per contest. 
• Freshman Justin Thomas made his first career start at Minnesota (Dec. 11). Thomas played a season-high 28 minutes, scoring seven points with six rebounds. Thomas is the first member of NIU's freshmen class to earn a start this season.

• Nic Reed leads the way for Olivet Nazarene, averaging 20.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per contest. Reed is one of three players scoring in double figures for the Tigers as Tyler Crater averages 15.6 points and Dakota Bennington chips in 12.7 points per contest.
