About Bowling Green
• The Falcons come into Saturday's contest with a 7-9 overall record, 1-2 in Mid-American Conference play. Bowling Green is 6-3 at home and is coming off an 81-53 loss to Eastern Michigan on Tuesday (Jan. 10).
• Three players are scoring in double figures for Bowling Green, led by 12.6 points per game from Zack Denny. Wes Alcegaire adds 12.3 points and Demajeo Wiggins chips in 10.7 points per game. 
• In conference play, Demajeo Wiggins is averaging 16.3 points per contest, tied for eighth-best in the MAC, while Zack Denny is scoring 15.0 points per game, tied for 18th in the conference.

• NIU will be making its fourth appearance in Bowling Green's six-year old home, the Stroh Center. The Huskies are 1-2 against the Falcons in the building, with the victory coming on Jan. 12, 2014 (45-36). NIU fell, 56-46, in its last visit to Bowling Green (Jan. 27, 2015). 

Slowing the League's Best
• The NIU defense has done a good job holding opponent's leading scorer in check during conference play. 
• In the conference opener, Miami's Michael Weathers was averaging 19.2 points per game, but was held to just 11 points.
• Against Central Michigan and the nation's leading scorer, Marcus Keene, who came in averaging 30.1 points per contest; NIU held Keene to just 14 points on 4-of-11 shooting with six turnovers. 
• Kent State's Jimmy Hall came into the contest against the Huskies averaging 17.4 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, but was held to just four points and five rebounds, with four turnovers, by the NIU defense.
