DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's basketball team will be back in the NIU Convocation Center on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 26, as the Huskies welcome Rockford University to DeKalb. Game time against the Regents is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
Fans attending Sunday's game can take advantage of a $7 family meal deal that includes a soda, hot dog and bag of chips.
NIU returns home after picking up a 70-68 victory over Manhattan on Wednesday (Nov. 22) in its final game at the Gulf Coast Showcase. Junior
Levi Bradley (Milwaukee, Wis./Pius XI) scored a team-high 22 points in the victory over the Jaspers, including the game-winning floater with 15 seconds left. Sophomore
Eugene German (Gary, Ind./21st Century Charter) added 18 points and a team-high seven rebounds, he also had a blocked shot in the final second to help preserve the victory.

Noah McCarty (Rock Falls, Ill./Sterling Newman) came off the bench to play a career-high 26 minutes against Manhattan, he had five points and four rebounds, including an offensive rebound on NIU's final possession that led to Bradley's game-winning basket.
German averaged a team-high 18.7 points per game in the tournament, Bradley averaged 16.3 points per contest and went a perfect 16-of-16 from the free-throw line while junior
Dante Thorpe (Washington, D.C./Triton College) added 10.7 points per game during NIU's three games in Florida.
The Regents enter the weekend with a 2-2 record and will visit Wisconsin Lutheran on Saturday (Nov. 25) prior to coming to DeKalb on Sunday. Will Adams leads three players scoring in double figures for Rockford at 13.5 points per contest, Taylor Krocker adds 13.0 points and Tony Diemer is averaging 11.3 points per game.
Sunday's contest is the first of two home games for the Huskies. NIU will also be at home on Wednesday, Nov. 29, as it hosts Milwaukee at 8:30 p.m., in the second half of a doubleheader. The NIU women's basketball team will tip-off the doubleheader at 6 p.m.
