• Aaric Armstead ranks 17th in NIU history in scoring (1,162 points), third in steals (146) and 10th in blocked shots (56). Armstead is also one of just nine active players in the country with 1,000 career points, 500 career rebounds and 140 career steals. 
• Eugene German has scored a career-high 20 points in each of the last two games; German made his first career start last time out against Ball State. 
• One of the elite big men in the MAC, Maric is one of just four players to rank in the top-20 in the league in scoring as well as the top-10 in rebounding and field goal percentage. Maric is currently averaging 13.2 points per game, 20th in the MAC. He is shooting 52.8 percent (130-of-246) from the field, ninth-best in the conference. 
• Levi Bradley is averaging 10.5 points per game over the last 10 games, shooting 46.6 percent (41-of-88) from the field and 34.8 percent (8-of-23) from three. Bradley made his second career start, and first start of the season, last time out against Ball State. 
• NIU ranks 27th nationally in turnovers forced (15.8 per game). The Huskies also rank 39th in offensive rebounds per game (12.7) and 49th in steals per contest (7.5).  
• The four overtime games this season is the most in a year for NIU since the 1981-82 season when the Huskies played in a five overtime contests.
• NIU has 64 wins over the last four seasons going back to the beginning of the 2013-14 campaign, tied for the second-best four-year stretch in program history. 
• The Huskies are the third-least experienced team in the MAC according to KenPom (1.39 years of experience per minute played). That mark is 280th in the country. Western Michigan is 290th at 1.31 and Miami is 324th at 1.12.

About Toledo
• The Rockets come to DeKalb with a 13-13 overall record, 6-7 in Mid-American Conference play, after falling at home on Tuesday to conference-leading Akron, 71-65.
• Three players are scoring in double figures for Toledo, led by 20 points per game from Jonathan Williams; Steve Taylor Jr. adds 15.8 points and a team-high 12.1 rebounds per game while Jaelan Sanford is chipping in 14 points per contest.
• Toledo is currently second in the MAC in scoring, averaging 80.7 points per game, and first in field goal percentage at 48.8 percent. In conference play, the Rockets are shooting 50 percent from the field.

• Toledo leads the all-time series against the Huskies, 43-28, but the Huskies hold an 18-13 advantage in games played in DeKalb. 
• NIU has won the last four games overall in the series, dating back to an 84-82 victory in Toledo on Feb. 25, 2015. The last win by the Rockets in the series came on Jan. 31, 2015. 
• In seven career games against the Rockets, Aaric Armstead has scored in double figures five times, including 11 points in the first meeting this season (Jan. 28, 2017). 
• NIU shot 48 percent from the field, and 50 percent from three-point range, in the first meeting this season to earn a 74-72 victory in Toledo. Marin Maric led five Huskies in double figures with 15 points and nine rebounds. Laytwan Porter scored 12 points in the first meeting this season, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.
