Aaric Armstead is one of just five active players in the country with 1,000 career points, 600 career rebounds and 150 career steals. The rest of the list includes: Tim Coleman (NJIT), Josh Hart (Villanova), QJ Peterson (VMI) and Sindarius Thornwell (South Carolina). Armstead ranks 16th in NIU history with 1,176 points and third with 150 steals. 
• NIU has 65 wins over the last four seasons going back to the beginning of the 2013-14 campaign, the second-best four-year stretch in program history. 
• One of the elite big men in the MAC, Maric is one of just four players to rank in the top-20 in the league in scoring as well as the top-10 in rebounding and field goal percentage. Maric has 23 career double-doubles, tied for 24th among active players in the country.

• The Eagles enter Saturday's contest with a 13-15 overall record, 5-10 in Mid-American Conference play, after falling at Ball State on Tuesday evening, 79-72. 
• Four players are scoring in double figures for Eastern Michigan, led by 15.8 points per game from Willie Mangum IV. James Thompson IV is averaging a double-double with 14.4 points and 10.8 rebounds per game while Ray Lee averaging 13.9 points per game and Ty Toney averages 10.7 points per contest. 
• Eastern Michigan leads the MAC in blocked shots (4.4 per game), steals (10.0 per game) and turnover margin (+4.4). 

All-time Series with the Eagles
• NIU leads the all-time series against Eastern Michigan, 53-39, but the Eagles hold a 25-21 edge all-time in Ypsilanti. 
• The home team has won the last three games in the series, including NIU's 81-69 victory earlier this season. Aaric Armstead led all scorers with 21 points in the first meeting of the year, Marin Maric added a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds while Levi Bradley also added 14 points. 
• Eastern Michigan has won each of the last five meeting between the two teams in Ypsilanti. 
• NIU's last road win over the Eagles came on March 5, 2012, in the First Round of the MAC Tournament when the 12th-seeded Huskies knocked off the fifth-seeded Eagles, 55-52, behind 14 points from Tony Nixon and 13 points from Aksel Bolin.
