***NIU dropped a regular season game to a MAC East foe for the first time since 2015, when the Huskies lost at Ohio (Nov. 24), snapping an eight-game winning streak versus MAC East foes. The Huskies had won 25 of its last 26 regular season games versus the MAC East teams prior to tonight.

***NIU's record in #MACtion games fell to 21-4 as the Huskies lost on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night for the first time since last year's game at Toledo.

***The Miami game was the fourth Huskie game this season to have the half end in a 3-0 score.  The Iowa, Utah and BYU games all were 3-0 at halftime with NIU leading Utah and trailing Iowa and BYU at the half.

****Marcus Childers' 37-yard completion to Spencer Tears in the third quarter was Tears' longest reception of the season and the longest completion since the Florida State game when Childers hit D.J. Brown for a 66-yard touchdown.

***Marcus Jones recorded a long touchdown run for the second consecutive week when he scored on a 29-yard run for NIU's first touchdown.  Jones scored on a 44-yard run last week versus Toledo.

***Miami's INT return for a touchdown was the second versus NIU this year.  Utah also returned a Childers pass for a touchdown on Sept. 8.

***Josh Corcoran recorded two tackles for loss and a sack to up his season totals to 10.5 TFLs and seven sacks on the year. He also had a forced fumble on the night.

***Running back Tre Harbison recorded his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season and his third consecutive 100-yard game with 16 carries for 103 yards to go over the 900-yard mark on the season.

***Antonio Jones-Davis led NIU with 10 tackles. It was his fourth game of the season with double-digit stops. He also led the Huskies defense with 2.5 tackles for loss.
