Kristin Weiner added 14 points and eight rebounds while Jennifer Uptmor had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. NIU shot 50 percent from the field in the first half on its way to a 39-25 halftime lead. NDSU rallied in the second half to take a 51-48 lead with 9:12 to play. The Huskies took back the lead for good at the 3:05 mark when back-to-back Uptmor layups gave NIU a 59-56 advantage.

North Dakota State is 2-4 on the year after dropping games to Pacific and North Texas at Pacific's Turkey Tip-Off last weekend. The Bison lost to the Mean Green 92-78 on Nov. 24 despite shooting 53.8% from the field. Marina Fernandez led North Dakota State with 20 points and eight rebounds. Rylee Nudell added 14 points.
