MADISON, Wis. – The Northern Illinois University Women's Tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback to Wisconsin at Nielsen Tennis Stadium Thursday afternoon.
Abigail Dekkinga (Allegan, Mich./Allegan Senior) battled at No. 4 singles. The Huskie senior had an opportunity to win the first set of her match, but suffered a 7-5 decision. She lost 6-3 in the second set.

Maria Potsi (Athens Greece/1st Gel Cholargou) and
Lara Slisko (Essendon, Australia/St. Columba's College) put up a fight at No. 2 doubles, but succumbed to Melissa Pick and Lexi Keberle, 6-4.
The NIU women's tennis team returns to action Friday when the Huskies play host to Milwaukee. The match begins at 12 p.m. CT and will be held at the Boylan Tennis Center.
