DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University women's tennis team travels to Muncie, Ind. to face Ball State for a Mid-American Conference match with the Cardinals at 12 p.m. CT Sunday.
 
Maria Potsi (Athens, Greece/1st Gel Cholargou) enters Sunday match on a high winning her first match in six events. The Huskie (5-15, 0-6) freshman battled for a three-set victory over Rita Pedroso of Akron. After dropping the first set, 6-2, Potsi won the next two sets, 6-3, 7-5.
 
Brodie Walker (Bristol, England/Bristol Grammar School) saw her five-match winning streak come to an end against Akron. She won the first set, 6-2, but lost the final two, 6-2, 6-4.
