DeKALB, Ill. – Northern Illinois University has finalized a new contract with long-time partner adidas which continues NIU's relationship with the Portland, Ore., based company as the official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand of the Huskies, NIU Athletics and adidas announced Friday.
Under this contract, adidas will continue to supply the Huskies' 17-sport programs with all their sports apparel, footwear, headwear and accessory needs through June 2026, with a three-year optional renewal which would extend the agreement through 2029.
