ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University women's team suffered a 7-0 setback to Buffalo at the Boylan Tennis Center Sunday.
The Huskies (5-14, 0-6), who were missing three starters from their lineup, lost the doubles point, and were unable to post a victory in singles action.
Lara Slisko (Essendon, Australia/St. Columba's College) and Paula Veyhle (Stuttgart, Germany) were leading, 4-3, at No. 2 doubles before Buffalo won the doubles point.
The Huskies conclude the 2018-19 season when it plays host to Ball State Sunday. Match is set to begin at 1 p.m. CT. and is scheduled for the West Tennis Courts on campus, weather permitting.
