DEKALB, Ill. – In conjunction with Northern Illinois University's celebration of the school's 125th anniversary, NIU Athletics will be highlighting the departments 125 significant moments on its various social media platforms and NIUHuskies.com.
 
Fans can check NIU Athletics Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts Mondays-Fridays starting Thursday, July 9 and running through Oct. 5. Fans can also find the list, as it is revealed, on NIUHuskies.com.  
 
Team achievements, individual accomplishments and milestones will tell the story of Huskie Athletics and its positive impact on the NIU community. Among the items on the list are three national championship teams and 19 conference-winning squads. NCAA qualifiers, both team and individual, historic draft picks and all-American selections are also prominently featured.
