***NIU reclaimed the Bronze Stalk Trophy for the first time since 2018 with its win Wednesday night.
 
***With its one-point win Wednesday night, the Huskies have now played in eight one-possession games (8 points or less) and have won six of those games.
 
***Four of NIU's seven wins have come by a combined five points: NIU has one-point wins over Georgia Tech, Central Michigan and Ball State and a two-point win over Toledo.
 
***NIU kicker John Richardson made his second game-winning kick as his field goal with 26 seconds left won the game at Toledo; the Huskies have three game-winning final minute field goals this year (Kanon Woodill kicked the game winner at Central Michigan).
 
***Trayvon Rudolph recorded his third straight 100-yard receiving day while Cole Tucker went over the 100-yard mark for the second game this season.  It is the second game this year that the Huskies have had two 100-yard receivers in the same game.  
 
***Running back Jay Ducker recorded his fourth consecutive 100-yard rushing game with 155 yards on 24 carries.  Ducker is the first player with four straight 100-yard games since Joel Bouagnon in 2015 (October 3-October 24).
 
***NIU has nine 100-yard games by four different players in its 10 games in 2021.  With his fourth 100-yard game, Jay Ducker surpassed Harrison Waylee (three 100-yard games) for the team lead, with tailback Antario Brown and quarterback Rocky Lombardi each accounting for one.
 
***Clint Ratkovich scored his team-leading 10^th touchdown of the season on a two-yard run in the second quarter.
 
***John Richardson made field goals of 38, 38 and 32 yards and was 3 for 3 on 3s on the night. The Groza Award semifinalist has made at least two field goals in five games this season and is 16-of-18 on field goals this season.
