***NIU freshman WR Trayvon Rudolph finished with a Mid-American Conference AND school record 309 receiving yards on 14 catches, surpassing the previous mark of 266 yards, set by Sam Hurd versus Central Michigan on Nov. 5, 2005.
*** Trayvon Rudolph's receiving yardage total is the most by an FBS receiver this year.
***Rudolph's 14 catches ties for second most all-time in a single game for NIU. The last player to catch 14 passes in a game was Kenny Golladay who had 14 catches versus Toledo (Nov. 9, 2016).
***Rudolph is the first Huskie to score three receiving touchdowns in a game since Nathan Palmer versus Toledo (11-1-11).
***Quarterback Rocky Lombardi set the NIU school record for passing yards in a game with 532 on 33-of-57 passing, surpassing the previous record of 486 passing yards by Phil Horvath versus Akron in 2005 (Sept. 24).
***Lombardi's 532 passing yards are the fifth-most by a MAC quarterback in a single game all-time.  Â
***Lombardi's 33 completions Wednesday rank fifth on the single-game charts while his 57 attempts are second.Â
***With 663 yards of total offense, NIU posted the sixth-highest total in school history and the most since NIU had 698 yards versus Kent State on Oct. 5, 2013.
***NIU played its sixth one-score game of the year (game decided by seven points or less). The Huskies are now 4-2 in those games.
***Kent State's win snapped NIU's five-game winning streak and was the Golden Flashes' first win in the series since 2001 (10 games).
