DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University wrestling team returns to the mat in a big way as NIU will play host to three teams at the Huskie Duals in Victor E. Court on Saturday.
 
Mid-American Conference foe Kent State, South Dakota State and Harper College will all be competing against the Huskies this weekend.
 
The matches begin at 12 p.m. with NIU (2-3, 0-1) facing the Golden Flashes and South Dakota State taking on Harper. The Huskies will face Harper during the second round and South Dakota State in the third round of the day.
 
All matches featuring NIU will be shown on NIUTube on NIUHuskies.com and fans can follow all the action Saturday via @NIUWrestling on Twitter.
 
This will be the Huskies' first competition since a strong showing at the Cougar Clash on Dec. 4. NIU enters Saturday with three wrestlers ranked in the various polls, led by Brit Wilson. The Huskie senior, who wrestles at 184, ranks No. 8 by Flowrestling and Intermat and No. 9 by Open Mat.
 
Izzak Olejnik, who competes at 165, ranks 19th by Open Mat and Intermat and 20th by Flowrestling, and the Huskies 174-pounder, Mason Kauffman, ranks 30th by Intermat.
