Weather permitting, the Huskies will play at DeKalb High School on Sunday.

The Huskies enter Friday's match in Muncie on a high after edging Buffalo in a tight match. After dropping the first set 2-6, and the contest tied, 3-3, Iulliia Dmitrieva fought off three match points in the second set and won the third, 6-0, to take the match at No. 5 singles and clinch the season sweep for NIU over Buffalo.

The Huskies head to Buffalo looking to build on their modest three-game winning streak following a series victory over Akron last weekend. Mackenzie Bryan was brilliant in the circle for NIU in her two starts against the Zips. She pitched a complete game shutout to finish a doubleheader sweep of the Zips Saturday and came back to pitch four strong innings in the series finale victory on Sunday.

Katie Keller continues to pace the Huskie offense. She led the way for NIU during its 3-1 series win over Akron batting.455, going 5-for-11 with five RBIs, two runs scored and four walks in four games against the Zips. Keller leads the Huskies in 10 offensive categories including batting average (.377), hits (43), doubles (16) and RBIs (28).
