DeKALB, Ill – After a nearly two-week intermission, the Northern Illinois University wrestling team returns to the mat this Sunday to take on Kent State on the road. Already with one Mid-American Conference win under their belt, the squad looks to go 2-0 in league competition. The action will commence at noon CT inside the Kent State Field House.
The History
The Huskies (3-2) trail in their all-time series with Kent State (0-1) 9-23-2. In the most recent matchup however, NIU took down the Golden Flashes 20-12 on Dec. 18, 2021, at Victor E. Court. The Huskies haven't lost to Kent State since Feb. 16, 2018.
