Senior forward Tara Stauffacher (Columbus, Wis./Wisconsin) led NIU with a career-high 21 points, nearly doubling her previous career high of 11. Stauffacher was 8-for-10 from the field and 4-for-5 from the three-point arc. The senior was one of five Huskies to score in double figures at SIUE. Sidney McCrea (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Prairie) had 13 points off the bench to match Marable's 13. Brooke Stonebraker (Versailles, Ohio/Versailles) had 11 points and a game-high eight rebounds. Grace Hunter (Monroeville, Ind./Bellmont) added 10 points and set career-highs with seven assists and three steals.

Detroit Mercy (7-3) has won three consecutive games and five of its last six after a 62-59 win at Western Michigan this past Wednesday. Senior forward Irene Murua led all players with 17 points. She leads Detroit Mercy in scoring and rebounding at 12.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. The Titans lead the Horizon League in field goal percentage allowed at 38.0 percent and are second in rebound margin at +7.2 and three-point field goal percentage allowed at 28.1 percent.
