DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's soccer game against Loyola Chicago on Tuesday night (Sept. 26) was called due to lighting. Kickoff for the contest was delayed by weather for just over an hour and a second weather stoppage in the 38th minute resulted in the game being called.
The Ramblers led 2-0 at the time of the stoppage. Any potential rescheduling of the contest will be determined at a later date.
NIU will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 2, when the Huskies travel to Milwaukee to face Marquette. Game time against the Golden Eagles is scheduled for 7 p.m.
