DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's basketball team welcomes Elon to the NIU Convocation Center on Wednesday night, Nov. 20. Tipoff against the Phoenix is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be available on ESPN+ as well as WDKB 94-9 FM in DeKalb.

Quentin Jones (Chicago, Ill./Marian Catholic) scored a team-high 19 points. Over the last three games, Jones is averaging 18.3 points per game, shooting 55.6 percent (20-of-36) from the floor and 41.2 percent (7-of-17) from three.
Ethan Butler (Toronto, Ontario/Southwest Academy) added 15 points against the Braves. Butler is the only Huskie to score in double figures in all four games this season.
Nasir Muhammad (Brooklyn, N.Y./Xaverian) came off the bench and netted nine points while
Quaran McPherson (South Jamaica Queens, N.Y./Link Year Prep) had eight points off the bench against Bradley. The NIU reserves are averaging 25.3 points per game this season.
The Phoenix come to DeKalb with a 1-2 record having fallen on the road to North Carolina (Nov. 4) and Gardner-Webb (Nov. 15) while defeating Bluefield (Nov. 9). Four players are scoring in double figures for Elon, led by TJ Simpkins at 17.3 points per game. Nick Dorn adds 16.7 points per contest, TK Simpkins is averaging 15.0 points per game and Sam Sherry chips in 13.0 points per contest.
This will mark NIU's second consecutive home game against a member of the Coastal Athletic Association as the Huskies defeated Monmouth, 79-66, in their last home contest.
Elon leads the all-time series against NIU, 1-0, as the Phoenix topped the Huskies, 85-80, in double overtime in the lone previous meeting on Nov. 25, 2016, in DeKalb.
Following Wednesday's contest, the Huskies will head on the road for their next three, beginning on Saturday, Nov. 23, at DePaul. NIU will return home again on Tuesday, Dec. 3, when it hosts Benedictine.
