Cleveland, Ohio – Iker Gaztambide Arrastia of the Northern Illinois University men's tennis team has been named to the All-MAC First team as announced by the Mid-American Conference on Tuesday morning.

This season in MAC play Gaztambide Arrastia went 6-4 in singles and 4-4 in doubles, Overall, Arrastia went 13-7 in singles and 9-6-5 in doubles play. Arrastia competed at No. 1 singles in all but one dual in 2025.

Throughout the season, Iker consistently performed at a high level," head coach René Vidal  said. "He's a top candidate to do even greater things in the MAC his senior year." 

Gaztambide Arrastia, a junior from Pamplona, Spain has impressed throughout his college career and was named the 2023 MAC Freshman Of The Year.
