DeKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University football team will kick off at 2:30 p.m. (CT) on Saturday, Sept. 27 as the Huskies host San Diego State at Huskie Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN+.

The game is the seventh all-time meeting between the Huskies and Aztecs and the first since 2017. NIU is on the road this week, heading to Starkville, Miss. for its first meeting against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Kickoff is at 3:15 p.m. with the game being televised on SEC Network and broadcast locally on WDKB 94-9. The Huskies have won three games against Power 4 programs since 2021, the most of any Mid-American Conference program in that time.
