DeKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University women's tennis team capped their Saturday doubleheader with a 7-0 win over Chicago State. Following a 4-3 win over Missouri, the Huskies (2-1) secured their second win of the season in quick fashion.

In singles, junior
Sydney Paradise put away Nadjema Morille for a swift 6-0, 6-0 win. Shortly after freshman
Malika Kabdesh defeated Chicago State's Mackenzie King 6-1, 6-0.
With Righi winning 6-0, 6-1 and Yecora winning 6-3, 6-0, the Huskies clinched the match.
Next weekend, NIU will host Marquette (0-2) on Friday at 9 a.m. and then travel to Valparaiso (4-1) on Saturday evening for the first road match of the season.
