Women's Tennis | January 9

DeKALB, Ill. - The Northern Illinois University women's tennis day is competing in the Northwestern Invitational this weekend in Evanston, Ill. at the Combe Tennis Center along with Northwestern and DePaul. 

The three-day invite will produce only individual results and not team scores with three rounds of doubles and singles each day. 

Friday
The Huskies notched a pair of doubles wins over Northwestern on Friday afternoon. Isabella Righi / Lucia Yecora defeated NU's Maia Loureiro / Margot Phanthala 6-4. 

The sophomore duo of Irmak Budak / Theodora Kousiou downed NU's Autumn Rabjohns / Mika Dagan Fruchtman by the same score of 6-4.
