2013-14: Went 10-20 as the Huskies[apos] primary starter at 184 pounds... Posted a 2-2 record at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/3), opening the tournament with wins over South Dakota State[apos]s Ben Schwery and Southwest Minnesota State[apos]s Andrew Rodas... Pinned Kent State[apos]s Cory Campbell in the first period at the MAC Championships (3/8-9)... Pinned Ryan Garringer of Ohio (1/10) for his other pin of the season... Went 2-0 at the Wendy[apos]s Duals (1/19) with a 4-2 decision against Ashland[apos]s Bryson Hall and a 4-3 decision over Purdue[apos]s Tanner Lynde.
2012-13: Went 8-7 in a redshirt season in 2012-13... Opened the season with a sixth place finish at the EMU Open (11/3), posting a 3-2 record at the meet... Took sixth place at the Michigan State Open (11/11) by posting wins in his first two matches... Finished seventh at the Kaufman-Brand Open (12/1) at 184 pounds... Totaled two pins in his three tournaments, sticking Lake Erie[apos]s Tyler Tesny at 5:13 at EMU and Illinois[apos] Joe Lamanna at 1:07 at Kaufman-Brand.
2011-12: Recorded a 10-16 record with one pin while starting every meet at 174 pounds... Took fourth place at the MAC Championships with a 1-2 record... Lone pin came against Cumberland[apos]s Scott Stewart at 3:58 on Dec. 21... Was never pinned in 26 matches and was only defeated by major decision four times.
2010-11: Finished the season with a 5-12 record as a true freshman while wrestling at 174 and one match at 184... placed fourth at the MAC Championships, defeating Eastern Michigan[apos]s Chris Eggert and losing to Kent State[apos]s Brandon Johnson in the third place match... finished 1-8 in dual meets and 0-5 in the MAC... recorded two victories by pin fall including the defeat of Knox[apos]s Alex Faulkner in just 1:26.
High School: Posted an 88-29 record as a four-year varsity letterwinner... helped lead team to earn the 2010 Ohio state title with a 15-0 season senior year as team captain... also finished second at the state championships at 189 pounds senior year... finished first at sectionals, regionals and in the Suburban League as a junior and senior.
