2011-12:Earned a 11-8 record in his senior season... Took fourth place at the MAC Championships with a 1-2 record, defeating Buffalo[apos]s Justin Heiserman in a 4-1 decision... Compiled a 10-4 mark in dual matches, including going 6-2 in his last eight... Went on a season-best three match winning streak from Jan. 8 through Jan. 20 where he outscored his opponents, 27-13... Opened his season with an 18-2 technical fall of North Central[apos]s Dylan Mahler.
2010-11: Finished the season with an 8-19 record, 3-13 in dual meets and an 0-5 conference record while wrestling at 197... placed third at the MAC Championships, defeating Eastern Michigan[apos]s Nick Whitenburg 5-3 and Buffalo[apos]s Brian Sheehan in an overtime tiebreaker 3-1 in the third place match...recorded two victories by pin fall, including a pin over 2010 All-American and NCAA Championships eighth place finisher Jarion Beets in 6:30.
Junior College: Wrestled two years for Harper Community College earning 2010 NJCAA All-America honors after taking sixth place at the national tournament.
High School: Earned a state championship at 189 pounds as a senior and helped lead Dundee-Crown to a regional championship in 2007-08... a four-year letterwinner, he posted an 84-12 overall record and a 34-2 mark in the Fox Valley Conference during his four-year career... a two-time team captain for the Chargers, he garnered all-conference accolades and all state honors in both his junior and senior years... was named team MVP as a senior after leading the team in pins with 20 and as a junior after earning a fifth-place finish in the state tournament... a two-sport athlete, he also played football at Dundee-Crown, earning all-conference honors and was named all-area by the Daily Herald in 2008.
