2011: Appeared in seven matches, making one start against Florida Atlantic. Recorded one point, an assist against Portland. Had one shot on goal and three total shots. Played a season-high 18 minutes against Buffalo.

2010: Earned five starts in nine appearances, scoring one goal and recording one assist. Scored his lone goal of the season against Oregon State. Assisted on Juan Hoyos[apos] goal in a victory at Wisconsin. Had 15 shots on the season, seven on goal.

2009: Came off the bench in 14 matches. Scored one of the Huskies[apos] five goals against Lafayette and added a tally in NIU[apos]s 5-1 win over Milwaukee. Assisted Luis De La Cerda[apos]s second goal against Seattle to help secure a 3-0 win. Took 18 shots with 11 coming on goal.

2008: Saw action in seven matches in his first collegiate season. Delivered a through ball to Finn Jor in the 4-0 victory over Xavier. Took six shots and made four attacks on goal.

High School: Forewent his final two seasons at Mundelein to play in the Top Talent Metro League, a Chicago-based men[apos]s conference. As a sophomore at Mundelein, scored 20 goals and had 12 assists, earning All-North Suburban Conference and all-area first team accolades. Helped the Mustangs to the 2006 sectional final and the 2005 regional title match. Named to the all-area honorable mention squad as a freshman after totaling 22 points on seven goals and eight assists.

Club: Led the Chicago Sockers FC, one of the top soccer clubs in the nation, in scoring. Helped the Sockers to the 2006 National Championship, and three regional titles. Sockers were also state cup and regional finalists in 2005.

Personal: Born Oct. 23, 1989 in Hoffman Estates, Ill. Son of Beth and John Tyma, former player for the Chicago Sting of the North American Soccer League. Enjoys dirtbiking and wakeboarding.
