Biography
2012:Competed in six meets during the 2012 season... Broke her personal record in the 5K with a runs of 19:44 at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational (9-29) in Chicago... Posted a season-best 21stplace finish in the 60-plus runner field at the UIC Opener (9-1)... Set a new PR in the 6K with a 24:31.30 clip at the Bradley Classic (10-12).
2011: Ran in six races during the season... Set career-low times in the 5K and 6K... Ran a clip of 20:58.20 at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront (10-1), while crossing the finish line at the MAC Championships (10-29) at 24:46.50... Posted a season-best 71st place finish at the NIU Open (9-10).
2010: Ran in three meets during the 2010 season, all of which came in the month of September... Finished a season-best 48th place at the Huskie Open (9/11)... Also posted a best 5K time at that meet with a mark of 21:19.99.
High School: Captain her junior and senior seasons... Named team[apos]s most valuable player her sophomore , junior and senior years... Holds school record in the 3200-meter run... Qualified for state in the 3200 meter run her senior year and the 1600 meter run her junior year... State Finalist in the 3200 meter run her senior season and the 1600 meter run her junior season.
Personal: Daughter of Leta Ann and Roger Janssen... Born Jan. 5, 1992... Majoring in speech pathology.
