2015 SEASON (REDSHIRT JUNIOR):
Played and started in three games for the Huskies
Totaled 10.1 innings pitched during the season with a career high 4.1 at Texas Tech (Feb. 21)
Tossed seven strikeouts including a career high four in the Feb. 14 contest versus Niagara
Recorded career highs for both pitch count (77) and walks (4) versus Niagara (Feb. 14)

Ranked the 92nd best Junior College prospect nationally by Perfect Game USA heading into 2014 season ... 123rd ranked recruit in the nation during his senior year ... Drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 38th round in 2011.

HEARTLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE:
• Made nine appearances with eight starts and 43.2 innings tossed
• Carried a 4-1 record with 2.06 ERA, striking out 36 with 13 walks
• Made debut March 13 against UW-Stevens Point, earning an 8-3 victory as he fanned seven in five innings
• Tossed a complete game, shutout versus John Wood CC on May 4, fanning six with one walk in a 6-0 victory
• Struckout six batters versus Illinois Central, pitching five innings (April 13)

UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE:
• Redshirted during sophomore season
• Had a 2.70 ERA in six relief appearances and 6.2 innings of work during freshman year in 2012
• Pitched an inning of shutout relief in win over Morehead State on May 15
• Had a career-best two strikeouts during an inning of scoreless relief at Indiana on April 17
• Was charged with one unearned run without a hit and one strikeout in 1.0 inning of relief against Georgetown on April 6
• Allowed two runs on two hits in 1.2 innings of relief against No. 12 Ole Miss on March 14
• Made his collegiate debut with a scoreless ninth inning to close out the Cardinals' 13-4 win over Indiana on March 6

MARQUETTE ACADEMY:
• Selected in the 38th Round (1153rd overall) of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Florida Marlins
• Was a four-year letterwinner in baseball as a pitcher, third baseman, shortstop and first baseman for coach Todd Hopkins at Marquette
• Ranked as one of the top 150 players in the class of 2011 by Perfect Game USA
• Earned All-State honors and was selected as area Player of the Year
• Finished 10-0 with a 1.08 ERA and 90 strikeouts as a prep junior and was 5-0 with a 1.29 ERA as a sophomore
• As a position player, hit .364 with one home run and 25 RBI as a senior and hit .451 with seven home runs and 56 RBI as a junior
• Also hit .375 as a sophomore and .395 as a freshman
• Was a prep teammate at Marquette Academy with current Cardinal Mason Snyder
• Also earned four letters in basketball and was an All-Conference selection
• Earned one letter in football at Marquette

PERSONAL/MISCELLANEOUS:
• Son of Jim and Pam Ceja
• Has three siblings, Jimmy, Leigh and Lindsey
• Plans to major in accounting
• Biggest thrill in sports was beating rival Streator Woodland, 6-2, in the Sectional title game to advance to Super Sectionals while pitching a complete game
• Admires athletes who excel after sustaining injury because you can overcome anything
• After college he wants to play Major League Baseball or become an accountant
• Person with the greatest influence on his athletic career was his father because he was in the yard with him every day and was the one who started him on this journey
• Hobbies and outside interests include playing basketball and football and hanging with friends
• Favorite movies include Never Back Down, Hangover and Step Brothers
• Favorite cereal is Raisin Bran
• Favorite candy bar is Take 5
• Favorite foods are steak and cherry cheesecake
• Favorite teams are the Oakland Raiders, Miami Heat and Chicago Cubs
• Favorite restaurants are Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden
• Enjoys listening to country music and rap
• If he could have dinner with three people, he would invite Dwayne Wade, Will Smith and Adam Sandler
