Biography

NIU Career Best: Beam - 9.675 (at Central Michigan, 2-6-15)

2017: Competed as an exhibition competitor on the balance beam to start the first three meets of the season before making the starting lineup for seven meets. Crumley set her career high on beam versus Kent State and Southeast Missouri State (Jan. 29) with a 9.800 season high. Earned a spot on the Academic All-MAC team for her accomplishments in the classroom and the gym.

2015: Participated in seven competitions this season, specializing on the balance beam. Her best score came at Central Michigan (2-6), tying for third with a 9.675, which is also her personal best at NIU. Started her season off with a 9.600 at UIC (1-9) coming in seventh place.


2014: Participated in seven events, scoring in five, performing on the beam. Scored a career-high 9.650 twice, first against Western Michigan (2-1) and again in a quadrangular meet with Iowa State, Texas Woman's and Wisconsin-Whitewater (2-16). Scored a 9.525 at Bowling Green (2-23). Turned in a 9.400 against Ball State (1-24) and a 9.000 versus Central Michigan (3-2) in a pair of exhibition performances.

Prep: Trained at Buffalo Grove Gymnastics Center, where she spent three seasons competing at Level 10. Career top scores include a 9.800 on vault, 9.300 on balance beam and a 36.650 all-around mark. Won the balance beam at 2012 Hawaiian Pineapple Classic with a score of 9.250 and took third on floor in the meet. Top finishes in 2012 include fourth place on floor exercise at the Arizona Surays Classic Rock Invitational with a 9.275. Posted her season-best all-around of 36.650 at the Illinois State Meet where she tied for ninth. Also was ninth on floor at the meet and had scores of 9.300 on beam and 9.325 on vault. Recorded the 9.800 vault score at the Flip'r Meet in 2011.

Personal: Birthday is February 17th. Family includes parents Teri and Kelly and brother Chad. Kelly was a gymnast at Oregon and Iowa and is co-owner of Buffalo Grove Gymnastics, while brother Chad was four-year letterwinner on the men's team at Oklahoma from 2009-12. Plans to major in psychology.
