2017: Ran in four meets throughout the season. Recorded her fastest 5k race of the season at the Country Financial Invitational (Sept. 8) with a time of 19:20.6, and ran only one 6k race, finishing in 25:04.8 at the Roy Griak Invitational (Oct. 23). Heit ran a 16:11.48 4k at the UIC Flames/Flyer Opener (Sept. 2). Named to the Academic All-MAC team.

2016: Competed in seven meets for the Huskies this season… scored personal best in the Country Financial Invitational 5k on Sept. 9, time of 19:14.18… Finished the Bradley Open 6k with a personal best time of 23:01.3 coming in at 152nd place on Oct. 15… Finished off the season at the MAC Championships on Oct. 29 with a finish of 24:41.0.

2015: Made her NIU debut at the Illini Challenge (Sept. 4), finishing 22nd with a 5K time of 20:41.9... Finished 89th at the Illinois State Invite (Sept. 11) with a 5k time of 20:20.5...Finished 15th in the white division races at the Bradley Classic (Oct. 16) with a personal best 6k time of 23:28.2 .

High School: A local northern Illinois product from nearby Rockford...Qualified for the IHSA Class A state championship in cross country in both 2011 and 2012...Also reached states on the track as a senior in 2015 in the 3,200 meters.
