2016-17: Finished his career on the NIU wrestling team with a 107-50 record, breaking the 100-win barrier in a dual against Nate Rose of Buffalo in a 4-2 sudden victory…Held a 13-3 dual record, tying for the most dual wins on the team while racking up 46 dual points...Wrestled in every competition for the Huskies at 197-pounds…Was ranked nationally all 19 weeks of the season, ranking as high as sixth according to Trackwrestling and Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine…Appeared in all four NCAA Coaches Panel Poll Rankings…Took third place at both the Michigan State Open (11/20) and the Midlands Championships (12/30)…Took fourth-place at the MAC Championships (3/5)…Qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the third time, where he had his hand raised three times and advanced to the Round of 12…Capped off the season with a 26-9 record.

2015-16: Qualified for his second NCAA Championships (3/17) at 197 pounds and won four matches to advance to the Round of 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York City…Defeated No. 9 Reuben Franklin of CSU Bakersfield and No. 16 Kyle Conel of Kent State at nationals, eventually finishing one win shy of All-American honors…Placed third at the MAC Championships (3/6) thanks to victories over Conel and No. 24 Anthony Abro of Eastern Michigan in the wrestlebacks to secure his trip to NCAAs…Finished the season with a 26-11 overall record…Tied for the NIU team lead in dual wins (12) and placed second in overall wins (26) and dual points scored (40)…Finished second at the Michigan State Open (11/15) after defeating top-20 wrestlers in Mark Martin of Ohio State and Drake Stein of Purdue on his way to the final…Started the dual season with an 11-0 record…Ranked as high as No. 9 at 197 by The Open Mat in November.

2014-15: Posted a 23-13 record at 197 pounds... Earned his first career trip to the NCAA Championships, where he went 0-2... Lost in the first round of the national tournament to eighth-seeded Max Huntley of Michigan, then was defeated in the wrestlebacks by ninth-seeded Jace Bennett of Cornell... Finished in fourth place at the MAC Championships (3/7-8), scoring wins over Northern Iowa’s Basil Minto and Eastern Michigan’s Anthony Abro... Notched his only pin of the year against Binghamton’s Caleb Wallace (11/29), sticking him at 2:11... Finished in eighth place at the Midlands Championships (12/29-30) with a 3-3 record... Claimed a fifth-place finish at the Michigan State Open (11/2) with four wins... Had 18 matches against 14 different NCAA qualifiers, posting a 9-9 record... Won five matches via major decision, including four in the month of November... Opened the year with a 14-4 record... Won seven-straight matches from Nov. 29 to Dec. 29... Finished the year ranked 26th in both the NCAA Coaches’ Panel and RPI rankings.

2013-14: Finished second on the team and first among non-redshirts for the Huskies with 22 victories... Placed a three tournaments during the season... Paced the team with 42 dual points and 12 dual victories... Claimed third place at the MAC Championships with a 3-2 record... Took second place at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open on Nov. 3 with a 4-1 record, losing only to conference champion J'Den Cox of Missouri in the title bout... Finished fourth at the MSU Open on Nov. 9... Recorded his lone pin of the season Nov. 16 at the EMU Duals, sticking Clarion's Brandon Contreras early in the third period... Scored a technical fall of North Dakota State's Colt Castleberry at the Northern Duals on Nov. 23... Posted a 5-3 record in MAC dual competition.

2012-2013: Went 10-4 in his first year as a Huskie before an injury sidelined him for the remainder of the year... Won four matches determined by major decision... Earned a 3-0 record at the Huskie Duals (11/10)... Won the 197 title at the EMU Open's fresh/soph division (11/3)... Won his first nine matches of the season.

High School: Registered a 215-22 record in four seasons at Holly High School... Four-time all-conference and all-area selection... Also a four-time Michigan state tournament qualifier... Three-time all-state honoree and team captain with the Bronchos... Went 54-0 with 30 pins during his senior season, winning the Flint Metro League and sectional titles in the process... Won the Michigan Division 2 state championship in 2011-12 at 215 pounds... Earned team MVP, all-conference, all-area and first team all-state honors as a senior... Took fourth place at the Senior Nationals Tournament while wrestling at 195 pounds... Took second place at state as a junior with a 54-2 record... Won the conference and sectional titles at 215 in 2010-11... Earned a fourth place at state as a sophomore, while winning a conference title and a second place sectional finish.

Personal: Born December 8, 1993, in Pontiac, Mich.... Son of Don and Cari Scott... His brother, Andrew, recently joined the NIU wrestling team... Majoring in Sociology.
